- Kiwi. Again, this can provide lot of complex carbs. Regular fruits like apples can be boring, and the kiwi should provide a welcome change.
- Tuna. This fish is a tremendous source of omega 3 fatty acids. You can also substitute shrimp and pollack.
- Salmon. This is another great source for omegas 3 fatty acids, and it is in fact among the healthiest fish dishes available. You can also add it to spinach to make a great salad. As an alternative, you can replace it with white fish every now and then.
- Nuts. You can have your kids munch on almonds, walnuts, and Brazil nuts. Walnuts and Brazil nuts especially have been found effective in relieving ADHD symptoms.
- Spinach. Many doctors recommend green leafy veggies for ADHD patients, and spinach is one of the most effective ADHD foods. If your children don’t like the taste, you can just add it to a smoothie filled with berries and other fruits.
- Whole grain cereals. You want multigrain cereals instead of Cheerios. Just avoid the cereals with the bright colors.
